Billy

Beautiful Billy had a difficult start in life. He was born and raised by his mum on the streets, and as a result, he is understandably very unsure and untrusting of people.

Billy isn’t the kind of cat who will immediately run up for cuddles, but underneath that uncertainty is a lovely little boy who simply needs someone to show him that humans really aren’t that scary!

He will need a quiet, patient and understanding home where he can take things at his own pace. Given time, patience and plenty of encouragement, we truly believe Billy will blossom into a wonderful companion.

We feel Billy would particularly benefit from a home with a confident, friendly resident cat who can show him the ropes and help him learn that life inside a home is safe, comfortable and full of good things.

And luckily, Billy has one very useful quality… he is HIGHLY food motivated! This little man can definitely be bribed into becoming your friend, one tasty treat at a time!

The ideal home for Billy:

• A calm and quieter household
• Someone patient who understands that trust takes time
• Ideally, a confident resident cat to help him settle but not mandatory
• Older children, ideally 12+, due to his intial nervous nature
• We are happy to consider younger children on an individual basis, providing they understand and respect Billy's initial need for space and allow him the time he needs to feel comfortable

Billy doesn't need someone to change who he is — he just needs someone willing to give him the time and patience to discover who he can become.
